Animal rescuer Brett Bradley Gecko’s guest speaker 27 March

Animal rescuer Brett Bradley is coming down from Brisbane to Currumbin to be Gecko’s guest speaker on Wednesday 27 March. Brett recently travelled to Japan to join a team of Sea Shepherd Cove Guardians trying to avoid the slaughter of dolphins. The meat of these intelligent and friendly creatures is a delicacy on Japanese dinner plates. “During my stay I sadly bore witness to 74 lives murdered and four lives sold into captivity from their natural home”, recalls Brett from his six weeks expedition.

Brett Bradley started his wildlife care journey at the young age of 17 with ARROW (Australian Rescue Rehabilitation Of Wildlife) but later changed organization to join WAG (Wildlife Action Group). His ultimate goal is to establish the “Wild hearts Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre” which will also consists of a farm sanctuary.

Gecko’s speaker night is on Wednesday 27 March from 6.30 pm in Gecko house, 139 Duringan Street, Currumbin. Nibbles and drinks for a gold coin donation.
