Join in the discussion led by keynote speakers and an expert panel from business, community and academic sectors as they uncover and discuss the role of business in shaping and influencing our cultural, social and political development. Learn about some of Queensland’s key business stories, the value of business record collections and effective ways of interpreting our shared business history.
Keynote speakers Professor Geoffrey Bolton AO, distinguished Australian historian and author, and Dr David Allison, Associate Director for Curatorial Affairs at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History as they contemplate the vices, virtues and uses of business history.
The symposium will be held at the State Library of Queensland, Cultural Centre, Stanley Place, South Bank.
