Afghanistan: Hidden Treasures from the National Museum, Kabul showcases some of the most remarkable archaeological finds in all of Central Asia. Featuring almost 230 priceless objects from between 2200 BC and AD 200, this exhibition showcases sculptures, jewellery and gold work of extraordinary beauty and significance. Objects in the exhibition include Bronze Age gold bowls, intricate gold ornaments and jewellery discovered at the site of nomad graves, bronze and stone sculptures, finely-crafted jewellery and painted glassware.

Afghanistan: Hidden Treasures from the National Museum, Kabul opens on Thursday 5 September 2013.
