Details: The format of UX Bookclub is simple: we nominate a UX book, everyone reads it (or as much as they can!) and we get together to talk about it.  The commitment is slightly higher than a typical meet up – you need to buy and read a book – but you’ll get lot more out of it.

The book we’ve nominated is: The design of everyday things by Don Norman.  This is the seminal text for usability and will change the way you look at the world. Don Norman (“The Don”) is a professor of cognitive science who coined the term “user experience” and was Apple’s first User Experience Architect.
