Details: Australian scientists have made discoveries that have changed the world – now it’s time to inspire our next generation! In this hands-on workshop, children will explore the invisible microscopic world of astonishingly small atoms. They will physically feel the difference between different elements including gold, silver and hydrogen. They will interpret the Periodic Table (a kind of ‘alphabet of the universe’), work with Atomic Numbers, construct models of molecules, apply bonding theory and devise their own chemical formulas. Everyone can learn. When shared with children, they can have fun while developing an understanding of the world around them and getting a head start in their science education. Tickets
